2 DIY Thanksgiving Decor Ideas

Hello, G45ers!

Just in time for the holiday with have two amazing Thanksgiving ideas courtesy of Pam Bray. Pam has used Seasons to come up with two perfectly seasonal decor ideas, a frame and a candle. First up, her frame features a fantastic mixed media approach and the perfect fussy cut additions. Next, she has embellished a candle with the same collection to add a personal touch. It would make a great home decoration or last minute gift and can easily be completed in under 60 minutes! Check them both out below, but first it is time to announce this week's blog prize winner.

The randomly selected winner is… Peggy Otieno-Scaison aka Patchworkplanner!  This is what Peggy had to say, "Oh man, I didn't realize there was an actual, usable paper doll in this collection!!!!!!" Please email info@g45papers.com to claim your prize.  Thank you for all who participated in this week's contest!

“Do you ever think I love seeing mixed media projects but it looks so complicated? Well, today I will show you just how quick and easy it is when using just a few paints and some fabulous Graphic 45 products! So, get those paints ready and grab your Seasons Collection Papercrafting Papers because the fun is going to begin!” ~Pam

Tips:

  1. Using both Weathered Wood with Crackle Paint will give you extra-large crackling on your painted projects.

  2. Using washes in paint colors that will match with your pattern paper will make the images from the pattern paper just pop of your projects.

  3. Fussy cutting small dragonfly and butterfly images and adding them to your projects will give a floating feeling and moment.
