Welcome to another fantastic introduction! Today, we are highlighting Brand Ambassador from Brazil who currently lives in the USA, Babi Kind. For Babi's introduction post she is sharing two stunning shabby chic scrapbook layouts video tutorials. These layouts are perfect for our June #G45Selfie Challenge and both feature Graphic 45 Deluxe Collector’s Editions, the first highlighting Baby 2 Bride & Once Upon a Springtime and the second Botanical Tea. "My name is Barbara Kind, but everyone calls me Babi. I am a Brazilian currently living in NJ, USA, with my husband and my 5-year-old daughter.
I have been scrapbooking since my daughter was born and it turned out to be an amazing journey and business opportunity for me. Now, I spend most of my time taking care of my family, crafting and running a small home business.
I love to create layouts, cards and mini albums and everything vintage and floral. I also love to teach and share my passion for scrapbooking with the Brazilian community.

2 Shabby Chic Layouts

I’m so happy to share with you my first projects as a Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador. It’s an honor to be on a team with so many talented people! Thank you, G45 family for this great opportunity!
My first project is a layout with two of my favorite collections: Once Upon a Springtime and Baby 2 Bride. I love how delicate these collections are.
I used a “selfie” photo that I took with Olivia earlier this year. She loves to Snapchat and it was fun to create a layout with this photo. These filters make magic, doesn’t it?
Tip: I fussy cut a lot of flowers from the papers to decorate and add volume to the page. It’s a great way to make your project beautiful without spending a lot of money with embellishments and flowers.
Tip: I like to stamp some simple images such as small text or polka dots to a layout when the papers are light colors. This adds some contrast to the page without taking the delicateness away.
Tip: Another tip is to add some simple die cut pieces along with the fussy cut papers to create the layers. For this page I use squares and flowers.

For my next layout “Dream” I used another beautiful and delicate collection: Botanical Tea.
Tip: I like to add a piece of cardboard in between the main paper and the other papers. It adds dimension and volume to the project. You can used a cardboard on a card or other projects too.
Tip: If you don’t have a photo that matches the papers, use a classic black and white on your page. The photo is the focal point in any layout, so it must go along with the paper.
Tip: You don’t necessarily need to show the whole chipboard. You can add a nice touch by mixing or hiding it with the other embellishments.
Tip: Sprinkle white gesso for a shabby look.
