Hello, G45ers!

We are making our way through our 2019-2020 Brand Ambassador Farewells and loving each and every project that we have got to share with you, and today is no exception.  Today, Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Tanya Cloete aka Tanya Scrap is in the spotlight.  Tanya is a wonder with her die-cutting machine, she adds layers, details, and class with each piece.  Below you will find her version of our Double Fold Card turned into a mini, a Decadent Box and Album, and for the show-stopper a 3D Paper Princess Castle.

#ClubG45 – Life’s a Journey

Double Fold Card Album

By Tanya Scrap

“Hello dear G45ers!

Happy to share with you my #ClubG45LeveledUp project this month featuring the beautiful Life’s a Journey Collection. I love the colours and patterns in this collection. It is just stunning!

For my assignment this month I was asked to choose any of the projects from the Club G45 Kits and level it up, so I decided to recreate the Double Fold Card by the talented Robin Shakoor. I made the card a little bigger and added an extra double card on the other side too. I also added two photo frames on the inside of the card to use as an album.

Charee Filimoehala has an easy step by step video tutorial on this project, you can follow the link here.”

#G45Selfie Princess Castle Renaissance

 ‘Happily Ever After’

By Tanya Scrap

“I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this amazing team for a second year and so excited to share my #G45Selfie project as a Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador. For our first project, I was asked to create a ‘Self-Portrait’ project that reflects me as an artist using my favorite paper medium and go-to technique.

I present to you my love for off the page a Castle Renaissance Model featuring the gorgeous Princess collection, one of my favourite  Graphic 45 lines at the moment. I love the patterns and soft colours of the papers, they are so pretty. My favorite paper medium currently is watercolor paper, I die-cut shapes with this paper and add a bit of it to almost every project. I love the texture and the off white colour, it goes so well with all types of paper collections and adds a lovely accent to your project. I love layering and adding embellishment clusters to my projects, so I would say that my go-to technique would be lots of die-cuts and fussy-cut pieces layered onto a project.”
