Joy to the World Pop Up Christmas Cards
“Hello G45 fans,
I hope it's not too early to start with making Christmas cards. The new Joy to the World collection is so festive and gorgeous that I couldn't resist making some special cards using them.It was so hard to stop using the papers,so I prepared three special fold cards for you today.
First one is a very special 3d shadow box card which i absolutely loved creating. There is totally four layers in this card, each layer is filled with lots of beautiful fussy cut images from the paper.
Tip: Fussy cut same images from 12*12 and 8*8 paper pad to get 3d effect while doing the arrangement
Tip: In each layer add foam tape to some images to get more layered effect
Centre Step Card Tutorial:
Take a 6 by 12 inches cardstock, cut and score according to the template
Cut the pattern papers according to the size and take an angel image from “Ephemera pack” for the focal image
Die cut flowers and leaves from “Pattern and solid” pad
Glue all the layers of flowers together, keep it on the foam pad and press in the centre to give shape. Put a drop of liquid glue in the center and sprinkle black micro beads and allow it to dry completely
Tip: Alternate solids and pattern design for each layer of the flower to create an interest.
Cut some images from the “Ephemera” pack,
Tip: You can get some full solid images to fussy cut from ephemera pack and cover of the paper pad.
Arrange all the fussy cut images, flowers and die cuts as you like.
I hope you enjoyed my projects for today.
Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting.”
