Craft Studio Tour

with Lena Astafeva

“Today I want to show my creativity room. Because of moving very often from one place to another, my room is very simple. I try to keep my things in boxes in order to get ready for moving very quickly. I keep my boxes on the shelves.

This is my desk.

On the desk, there is a notebook and a plotter

The most amount of my paper I keep in drawers, the rest are in two big boxes

I decorated a box G45 for my ribbons.

In this way, I keep metal decorations.

I keep chipboard in this way.

I keep flowers in this way.

My Graphic 45 stamps.

In the boxes I keep albums, postcards as well, some of them are in the cupboards and on the upper shelves.” ~Lena

Happy Papercrafting!

Thank you very much for letting us into your creative space, Lena (and G45). It is absolutely breathtaking! As someone who has moved many times (more than 20 in my 36 years of life) and whose present crafting room is very, very small, I really appreciate what you said about keeping things organized in such a way as to be ready to change houses at a moment's notice. As well, it's genuinely comforting to know I'm not the only one with a very small desk. So often (understandably!) craft rooms have large desks, desks spanning multiple walls, or more than one desk in the same space. If one has the room, that's awesome, but as crafter like us know, it's also possible to create wonderful works of art on much smaller desks (and tables, etc) as well. Many thanks again! May you have a splendidly safe, happy, inspiration-filled 2021!Autumn Zenith

Thank you, Lena, for sharing your private paradise with us! I like that clever idea of storing paper pads in that shoe cabinet! Kind regards from Germany Anka a.k.a. HirschEngelchen

Thank you for showing us a studio that is attainable! Those beautiful new studios with matching furniture and baskets are beautiful, but who can afford that? This room is also beautiful, but in a way that is comfortable and has ideas for anyone to take away and use. Thank you !
