Craft Room Tour

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

“Hello everyone,

Welcome to my Happy Place, my craft room!! Here is where all the fun takes place, where I create everything that I love so much…

As you can see, my room has two big windows where the light comes in and makes everything more welcoming and harmonious!!

I like to have very well-defined spaces, so I can use and tidy up the space according to what I need. I like to have a big table on the center, and everything else around me. I also let the things I need more in sight, and also so I can remember to use them when I am creating, like my Sizzix machine, my sewing machine, and many more tools and also embellishments.

I don’t consider myself a tidy person and my space is more messy than tidy, because I play a lot, and when I play I make a big mess on my table, I have papers on the table to fussy cut, stickers, embellishments, i grab the ribbons to see what matches… sometimes paints and other media and then that things start to get scattered everywhere!!!

But when I clean everything my craft room looks like this:

I like to use my projects all over my craft room to inspire me!!

I also sometimes buy house decoration pieces that I like and I use them also to decorate my space and to use when I take pictures of my projects, to create a beautiful background space.

I love this IKEA system to store everything in sight, easy to grab and store again!!

I like to have my graphic 45 staples in baskets!!

I also have a magnetic board made by myself to keep my favorite dies visible, next to baskets with my fabrics, sitting on an old sewing machine table restored by me, with the top lined with fabric.

This is where I store all my graphic 45 collections, with all the embellishments together, it’s an old iron drawer file, and it has the perfect size to store everything!!

The interior of the drawers look like this with the collections inside…

And the best way to keep everything easily accessible, is using small labels with the name of the collections that are inside the drawers. I use the Graphic 45 labels from each collection. Look like this:

I’m always changing my spaces and the projects that I have displayed on the space, to keep me inspired.

Here is the same old iron drawer file with some of my favorite Graphic 45 projects:

To see more of my space please make sure to watch the Craft Room Tour video that I created for you.

Hope you like it and find it useful and fun!!
