DIY Flutter Home Decor

By Glenys Vidal

“Hello G45ers, I’m happy to share with you again a new project this month. We are right now in the harsh winter months, but I am already dreaming of spring and wishing it will get here soon. For this project, I am using the Flutter collection that inspired me to create a super easy spring decor piece for my home.

I created a set of two 4×6 frames just using chipboard and papers from the collection.

I wanted my frames to remind me of nature and of course to have a 3D effect, to achieve the desired look I used branches and moss from my garden and fuzzy cut images from the collection.

For each frame, I used a different but coordinating image from the collection.

I started by cutting chipboard in the size I needed and then formed a kind of shadow box with it.

Then the fun part begins. I just added papers, my branches, the moss, and the fuzzy cut images to complete my frames.

I made copies of the fuzzy cut images to create a shadow and to add dimension to my pieces.

In no time, I had my frames ready to display in my home.

Thank you so much for reading I will see you soon with more projects.”
