Altered ATC Box | Graduation Gifts
By Aya El
hello friends, I hope you have an amazing day ahead! Today’s project is an altered ATC box. I thought I’d put together graduation gift-ready.
I altered the ATC boxes use two different ways. The first way, I used paper ( Lost in Paradise) to cover the ivory box. To cover my frame sides, I measured them and cut some papers accordingly. Then I glued them on with liquid glue. Since the main focus of the project will be the gift in the front, I used some simple patterns to cover the sides. I stacked several flowers for extra embellishments. Before gluing any of the embellishments or flowers. Try arranging and moving them around till you are content with their placement. Take several pictures then begin gluing them. I distressed the edges to give a unique look of depth. Finally, I added splatters of metallic watercolors.
For the second ATC black box, I used metallic acrylic paint to cover it. because I always love adding different textures to my projects, I used a stencil with shimmer paste to make some raised patterns. Also, I used a sponge applicator instead of a brush to paint the box for extra texture!
