Hello, G45ers!

We love creative uses of Graphic 45 Staples, and today's blog is a perfect example of how stunning our tags can be when you use a little bit of creativity.  We present you with an Ocean Blue Tag Mini Album by the amazing Annette Green.  Annette shares a video tutorial so you too can take some decorative papers and tags and create your own interactive album.

Ocean Blue Multi-Tag Album

By Annette Green

“Learn how to create a beautiful sea-themed mini album with two styles of kraft tags, some clever cutting techniques, and the new Ocean Blue collection (Available Soon). This album is so fun and easy to create, you’ll want to make several with other paper collections and themes. If you don’t have a Cinch machine and coils, simply use a strong hole punch (Crop-a-Dile) and some coordinating ribbon to bind your pages.” ~Annette

This is gorgeous and I am so on it! But when you cut the paper to fit the tags, how do you deal with not covering the grommets?

Use the tag die to cut your paper.

This is a beautiful album! I'm curious, what adhesive do you use to adhere your paper to the tag blanks?

02/17/2020, 04:18:19 PM,

That's a cool project, Annette! I love the mini, and some day will try it out. I don't have the dies for tags like this, though, so I would create my own.

I love this and have now cut all the papers to size, fuzzy cut and am ready to fix the paper. It looks to my eyes as if you have inked the edges, can I ask which colour? I also sprayed the sea horses with glimmer mist to make them glisten (as if in the water). I find it looks great. Before fixint the fuzzy cut seahorses (yea, I cut several) I covered them in medium decoupage lacquer and moulded the horses so they weren't simply straight. I find it adds more life to the animals.
