Safari Adventure Tags
With Paper Stitching Tutorial
My assignment for this month is to share some new techniques, and, my first reaction…”OMG, what I’m going to do?”, I felt like it could be a hard job because I wanted to share something special but, finally, I became inspired by this amazing collection “Safari Adventure” and more than a project, I want to share how to add some smaller details to your album, card, travel journal, etc.
I added to these tags some cross stitches and gave them an ethnic touch and they became something unique.
In the video, you may see how to do each one and you will be able to add it to your projects.
Adding Special and Unique Details...
Tip: Study the thematic of your project, in this case, papers, and add little details related to this theme. The result will be great.
Tip: Apply simple embroidery stitches to your pieces and you will achieve a special effect and make your projects something unique.
Tip: If you are making a project with many pages or sections, add the same kind of details and it will help to integrate your pages.
Tip: Play with helm cords, thin rope, inclusive you may use a piece of leather too, all these products could be a great accessory to your projects.
Tip: There is another way to decorate your chipboard tags. You don't always have to add a ribbon.
I did these 3 large tags with Safari Adventure only to showcase the details, the tutorial is about how to do these fun details, but if you want to know what I used:
