Festive Holiday Tags

By Babi Kind

“Hi Everyone!

Today I would like to share with you my Christmas tags using The Twelve Days of Christmas Collection.

I have to admit that Christmas projects are usually very challenging to me. We always have a project or theme that takes us out of our comfort zone, right? At the same time, I feel the need to push myself to create things that I certainly do not do on a daily basis.

How about you?

Since I love all kinds of wreaths, I decided to create my own using Large Tag, ATC Tag and Flower Dies. You can see how I created the wreath and tag on the video at the end of this post.

Tip: When you are a struggling with a project, choose an embellishment  or technique that you really like and are comfortable with. Suddenly, the project becomes fun and less challenging.

I chose this silhouette piece to finish my wreath. Cutting the piece in a Kraft paper and stamping it in white ink with Nature Sketchbook stamp. It gives a light touch to it.

On my second tag, I used fussy cut flowers from the collection to decorate the wreath.

I also splattered white gesso in both tags for a shabby look.

You can use this wreath for Spring, Fall or any other seasonal theme project. Just change the colors and embellishments.

You can add a gift card on the back of the tag or to a package as a decoration.

I really like to make gift tags through out the entire year. With all my scraps that are left over when we make our projects, there are easy to make and you will keep your different types all year round. Ellen from cold Phoenix AZ.

Loved seeing the creative process of that lovely tag. Thanks, G45, for these new tag dies! I am remembering the tedious process of making our own liners. Looking forward to lots of new projects for 2019!

You make it look so easy. Lovely tag and love pocket on the back. That would be good to use in a mini album. I like that you used 3 in 1 glue, rather than glue gun. I find it will glue anything and sticks/stays put and doesn't dry out and fall off.
