Capture the Holiday Season with 2 Scrapbook Layout Ideas

Posted by Graphic 45 11/07/2017 27 Comment(s) Layouts,Tutorials,Videos,

Hello, G45ers!

Now that it is November, it is time to get ready for the holidays and we have a delightful layout double feature to help get you in the spirit! First, Elena Olinevich shares the perfect layout for fall, featuring Seasons. Her layout is the perfect way to celebrate the Halloween or Thanksgiving. We love her fussy cut additions and the flowers add some nice variety as well. Next, Aneta Matuszewska takes a mix and match approach to a Christmas layout, featuring current and previous holiday collections, Winter Wonderland, Christmas Carol, and St Nicholas.  Both projects include video tutorials to get you started on your own as well. Check them out below.

Happy Layout

By Elena Olinevich

“Autumn is my favorite season. I like it for the colors, for the harvest, and for the mood I have this time of the year.

The new collection Seasons has everything you need to choose from for your favorite season.

I found the picture of my family, from when we visited a picnic and found a fun bicycle at the photo booth. I decided to use this shot for my layout.

I started by fussy cutting the embellishments for my layout. I really love the sunflowers this collection has.

I cut out the Autumn banner. I like the brown colors it has.

In addition to the fussy cuts that I’ve used, I added the fabric flowers for a more dimensional look.

I also filmed the process of arranging all of my elements. It’s quite easy and I hope that you can  follow it to recreate this project at home.” ~Elena Olinevich

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing your projects with us, Elena and Aneta! One Christmas tradition my family has is helping out and spending time at a local ministry for the homeless.

I just love the old-fashioned look and feel of G45 paper and matching items. Takes me back to many the afternoon that I had spent with my Great-Grandmother. Thank you for helping me remember all those wonderful times
