Penny’s Paper Doll Family
Mini Album and Paper Dolls Gift Set

By Alexandra Morein

Hello dear G45ers! I couldn’t hold myself off creating a playset with the paper dolls using the Penny’s Paper Doll Family collection, but I wanted it to be functional too, so I combined the play set idea and a mini album together.

The album has 6 dimensional envelope-style pages for at least 10 pictures each, as well as a little vellum envelope which holds all the cut out figures of the dolls and their accessories. The envelopes are bound to the spine with the twine and the whole construction is flexible and easy to flip through. The album has a fabric cover and is kept closed with a ribbon.

There is a video tutorial for this project and I hope you will enjoy creating a similar album. In the beginning of the video you will also find an overview of the book.” ~Alexandra

I will have to start following Alexandra on YouTube, I love both of these projects. I haven't done a project yet with the masquerade collection but this photo box looks like any of the collection of graphic45 would work nicely.

The Paper Doll Collection is wonderful - at my age of 74, I remember the fun I had with paper dolls. I had a fabulous collection of just about all the movie stars, now kids don't know how to play with them - so sad!!
