Hello, G45ers!

Welcome to a wonderful edition of the Graphic 45 blog.  Although the Holidays may be behind us we still have more cheer to share.  Today, we have a #SimplyG45 Holiday Tag 60-Seconds or Less Video Tutorial by Brand Ambassador Olga Heldwein.  Olga uses our ATC Policy Envelopes and Winter Wonderland collection to create all four of these gorgeous and easy to make tags.   Although these are Holiday themed tags, it doesn’t mean you can’t take this tutorial to create tags for any occasion, these would be great editions to Valentine’s Day, birthday, and wedding presents.

Envelope Tags
By Olga Heldwein

“So for this one, I had a hard job. I wanted something nice looking but simple at the same time to be able to squeeze the whole project into a super short tutorial. And I come up with these tags. They will nicely fit to any kind of monochromatic or vintage gift wrapping . Making those is easy and they look very festive. They based on envelopes so you can include longer messages to your gift and hide letter with name tag inside the envelope .” ~Olga

Canvas with Mixed Media Background

"For this work, I use some envelopes and elements from Communique collection. I find them perfect for framing pictures. This is my valentine frame with a really cute picture of us. It's not traditional colors for valentines but we are a non-traditional couple ( we prefer Halloween over Valentines). I really like using those small chipboard pieces from different collections they have really cool designs that can totally improve your project. I made a video tutorial for this one." ~Olga

Sharon Gutsell:
01/30/2018, 06:23:01 PM

Love these tags. Olga does a fabulous job of designing. I love her use of mixed media. Graphic 45 you have amazing products that are awesome to use. My tip; which is certainly not new to anyone but is a must do; fussy cut using sharp scissors and really good light. Do it at times when others would spend time knitting or reading. Its very relaxing, and great to have a stash of goodies ready to use.

Suzy Hilborn:
01/30/2018, 07:10:36 PM

Share one of my tips, huh? Sometimes I cannot find just what I want to fit on a project, so I go back to my box of leftovers and find a chipboard piece that is the right size. Then I cut and trim a piece of the collection that I am working with to make it fit the chipboard. Once I glue the new piece on the old chipboard, you can never tell the difference. Waste not, want not, right?

01/31/2018, 08:32:40 AM,

the best tip I have is to see which other Graphic 45 theme supplies you have on hand that compliments the one with which you've just selected to create. Using additional theme "parts" adds depth and dimension. Graphic 45 "extras" also work extremely well in any Junk journal! Thanks Graphic 45!
