Hello, G45ers!

Get ready to fall in love with this gorgeous Wallet Fold Album by Sandy Trefger.  This album was created with a oodles of Graphic 45 goodies, including Mon Amour our romance inspired collection, Policy Envelopes, and metal keys and keyholes.  Below Sandy shares photos and tips on how to transform envelope into a fun and functional accordion album with pull out tags perfect for photos and journaling.

Mon Amour Love Notes Album

By Sandy Trefger

“February is the month of LOVE!  And what better gift to give someone you love than a “Love Notes” album.  This is not a traditional album with lots of pages for photos but rather an album with accordion pockets for love notes and tags for your photos plus a mini waterfall section for those smaller images you print up from your smartphone. You could even put coupons inside the pockets that are created from the Graphic 45 Square Policy Envelopes.  This is very easy to create.  I did not do a tutorial on it but hopefully, by looking at my photos you can see how easy it would be to put together.

The cover and spines of the album are made from cardstock that you score to hold the policy envelopes and to create a flap for the closure.  When I open it up, you can see the small waterfall section on the left.  The policy envelopes are in the right section of the album.

The envelopes do not open up as pages but are attached together in the center of each one to create an accordion type section to hold your love notes and the tags for photos.  You only put adhesive down the middle of each envelope and attach it to the next one.  For this project, I did cut off the closure flaps of each policy envelope to create open pockets.

Graphic 45 Supplies:

Mon Amour 12x12 Pad

Staples - Square Tags - Black

Staples - Policy Envelopes-Square Black

Staples - Ornate Metal Key Holes

Staples - Shabby Chic Ornate Metal Brads

Staples - Ornate Metal Keys

Other Supplies:

  • 49 & Market Flowers in Pink & Ivory
  • Pink Button Twine
  • Ivory Seam Binding Ribbon
  • Ivory Artisan Cardstock
  • Black & Ivory Ribbon

Tip:  To create a cover for an accordion type album such as this one, first attach all your envelopes together by only applying adhesive to the center of each envelope.  Then place your envelope set onto your cardstock to get the measurement you will need to create the cover and your score lines.  You may need to piece two sections of cardstock together to make it long enough to include a flap.  Once you have your scored cover, attach the set of attached envelopes to the cover by applying adhesive to the center only of the outside of the first envelope and the last one.

Each flap in the waterfall section will hold small photos.  Create a closure flap by adding a magnet to the back of the flap and the bottom of the top waterfall flap.

Fun Fact:  I received the small Google Home for Christmas and I keep it in my craft room as I love to use it to listen to my Pandora radio stations as I craft.  I can simply say “Hey Google, turn on music” to get it started and then I can say music down, music up, change stations, play Beatles etc.  and all hands-free while I’m crafting!

I hope you enjoy this Love Notes Album and will have a try at creating a pocket accordion type album.

Happy Crafting!” ~Sandy Trefger

"I went ultra girly with this page filled with flowers, pockets and tags.  I cut a circle in the center of the black script page and adhered it to a pink patterned base using pieces of cardboard.  I added lace under the top layer and a circle of pearls to the top to accentuate the shape of the circle.  I matted the photo on cardboard to create space below the photo for flowers and embellishments.

Tip:  Create a gallery wall using layered scrapbook pages.  This gets your favorite pages out of your scrapbook and into full view." ~Robin

I am becoming smitten by the gorgeous creations I have been seeing on your site every day. I have been holding a lot of Graphic 45 papers and items in my collection and have not wanted to cut them because they are so gorgeous. Now that I am seeing what others are creating with their papers I think I'm ready to jump in. Winning this collection would be a great jump start for me since all the supplies are included. Very inspiring, please keep them coming, I look forward to seeing them every day.

I love the Mon Amour paper collection! I haven't purchased it yet, but I'm inclined to do it soon. I also love making pocket albums and this one looks easy/complicated. As long as I save the pictures, I think I might be able to come close to it. And the scrapbook page was absolutely darling. Thank you

Henderson Elizabeth Dr joy is a trust worthy spell caster and he will be of great help to you. I never believed in spell casting but After 4 years of marriage my husband left me because I lost my womb, and i was unable to give birth to children. I felt like my life has come to an end, and i almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time, but thanks to this spell caster called Dr joy whom i met online after my friend Becky Ross told me how he also helped her to bring back her husband in less than 2 days. I believed her and decided to give Dr joy a try and i contacted him on his email joylovespell@gmail.com. and explained my problems to him. He laughed and told me that In less than 2 days, my Husband will come back to me again, and that he will restore my womb and i will give birth to children. At first i thought it was a joke but i took courage and believed as Dr joy has said and it did happen just as this Great spell caster said, My husband called me and was crying, begging for forgiveness. I forgive him and today i am so glad that all worries and problems has gone away, and we are even happier than before, another good news is that i am pregnant now, and very soon we will have our baby. Dr joy is really a gifted and a powerful spiritual man and i will not stop publishing him because he is a wonderful man. I advice you all If you have a problem and you are looking for a real and genuine spell caster to solve all your problems just Contact Dr joy on his email on joylovespell@gmail.com. because he will always help you to solve all problems. Once again thank you Dr joy. Thank you, thank you. you can also call him or add him on Whats-app: +2347088404185.
