Hello, G45ers!

Congratulations, you made it to Friday!  To kick off your weekend creativity we have an amazing DIY Sliding Closure Box & Album featuring our new Winter 2018 collection, Little Women.  This coordinating set was created from scratch from the box master herself, Alexandra Morein.  But first, we are excited to announce this week's blog prize winner...

And the winner is.... Kim Persinger!

Kim had this to say on our Insagram post of Sandy's Baby Album: "I love the projects that you share and the wonderful papers that you carry. Thank you very much for the chance to win."

Congratulations Kim, please email to claim your prize.  This week’s prize package included an Off to the Races 8x8 Paper Pad, 6x6 Paper Pad, Chipboard, Ephemera, Staples ATC Book Box, and Shabby Chic Door Pulls, a $40 value.

Little Women - A Box with a Sliding Closure

By Alexandra Morein

“I love to create boxes and every time I sit down to make a box, I want it to be special in something. Sometimes I succeed less in this, sometimes more.

My today’s box has a sliding closure, which has been created out of medium weight chipboard, like the rest of the box. I’ve added a tiny shadow box to a closure, and attached a metal envelope charm to it too.

To protect the contents of the box from being scratched or damaged by the sliding “buckle”, I’ve created an acetate insert, which is put into the box right on top of the notebook.

The notebook has also been created from scratch, with plain photocopy papers, bound in the Coptic stitch binding method.

I hope you like my today’s share and this inspires you to create with the gorgeous Little Women by Graphic 45.” ~Alexandra
