3x3 Craft Challenge: 3 Product Done 3 Ways By 3 Ambassadors

Posted by Graphic 45 06/26/2017 116 Comment(s) Home Decor,Altered Art,

Hello, G45ers!

Welcome to a new week here at the Graphic 45 blog, where we are kicking things off with a fresh new feature. Today, we are showcasing three unique and creative projects for our brand new 3x3 Challenge. Each month the Graphic 45 family will select three featured items and then three designers will be asked to use them in three different ways. This month's items are: Deep Square Matchbook Box, Patterns and Solids paper pad (any P&S from one collection, no design papers), and  Tags and Pockets (from the same collection used for P&S). This weeks featured Brand Ambassadors are Katelyn Grosart, Marina Blaukitchen, and Sandy Trefger. First up, Katelyn has created a classic theater style Ticket Booth Box featuring Vintage Hollywood. Next up Marina shares her pretty Portrait of a Lady box. Finally, Sandy presents a magical Midnight Masquerade Spool Wheel Case. Each Ambassador has risen to this challenge with an exceptionally beautiful creation and we hope you enjoy seeing them below.

3x3 Challenge, Patterns & Solids, Tags & Pockets, Vintage Hollywood, Portrait of a Lady, Midnight Masquerade, graphic 45, prize package, $95.50 value

This week's prize package is valued over $95, and includes three Patterns & Solids paper pads and Die-Cut Tags & Pockets from Vintage Hollywood, Portrait of a Lady, and Midnight Masquerade, along with a Deep Square Matchbook Box.  To enter to win this fabulous prize just leave a comment here and/or on Facebook.  The winner will be announced on Friday, June 30th's blog post.

Ticket Booth Shadow Box

By Katelyn Grosart

“Using only the Patterns & Solids and Tags & Pockets from the Vintage Hollywood Collection, the Deep Square Matchbook Box, as well as a few other embellishments, I was able to create this fabulous ticket booth shadow box. Although this was more of a challenging project for me and definitely put me out of my comfort zone, it was loads of fun to put together. I hope that you'll enjoy some of the up close photos of the ticket booth as well as a few tips and tricks.” ~Katelyn Grosart

Tip:Cut a bit off the side and top of a tag to create the shelf at the front of the box.

“Can you imagine how many different things you can do with Graphic 45 products? They are so versatile and combinable that you can allow yourself to create to infinity.

Here's an example using only 3 of them: Deep Square Matchbook Box, Portrait of a Lady 12x12 Pattern & Solid Pad and Tags & Pockets.

I've covered the box with decorated paper, inside and out, and I've decorated the Tags & Pockets and some flowers to keep a small file cabinet. I have used Tags & Pockets to do the separations between the pockets as well. All of them are anchored in a spine base.” ~Marina Blaukitchen

Tips:

Combining the decorated papers of the same tones gives uniformity in the set.

You can easily line the box by gluing the decorated paper over the surface, leaving a small margin. To do this, measure the surface of the box and cut the paper slightly smaller.

Spool Wheel Case - 3x3 Craft Challenge

By Sandy Trefger

“The Graphic 45 3x3 Craft Challenge is a unique way to limit your basic supplies and widen your creativity.  This month I was asked to use the three featured Graphic 45 products selected for the Craft Basket Challenge--1)Deep Square Matchbook Box, 2)Patterns & Solids Paper Pad and 3)matching Tags & Pockets. I was excited to be chosen for this challenge and had a vision of using the matchbook box to create a case with the fabulous Midnight Masquerade Patterns & Solids.  I had seen a box somewhere on Pinterest with wheels made from empty sewing spools and knew I wanted to add that into my design.  I was lucky to have several of the spools in my stash.  I am thrilled with the way my Spool Wheel Case turned out and hope that it inspires you to join in on the Craft Basket Challenge! Happy Crafting” ~Sandy Trefger

Tip:

I love to fussy cut when designing a project, however, when you are limited to your paper collection (there are no images in the Patterns & Solids Paper Pads) you look to other means. Some of the images on the Tags & Pockets are perfect for fussy cutting and because of their extra thickness, they work very well for fussy cut images that need to stand up.  My tip is for you to look to your embellishment packs for other images to fussy cut--it will give you extra uses for those packs.

My names are Ashley Vivian, Am here to share a testimony on how Dr Raypower helped me. After 1/5 year relationship with my boyfriend, he changed suddenly and stopped contacting me regularly, he would come up with excuses of not seeing me all the time. He stopped answering my calls and my sms and he stopped seeing me regularly. I then started catching him with different girls several times but every time he would say that he love me and that he needed some time to think about our relationship. But cannot stop thinking about him so i decided to go online and i saw so many good talk about this spell caster called Dr Raypower and i contact him and explain my problems to him. He cast a love spell for me which i use and after 24 hours, my boyfriend came back to me and started contacting me regularly and we moved in together after a few months and he was more open to me than before and he started spending more time with me than his friends. We eventually got married and we now have been married happily for 3 years with a son. Ever since Dr Raypower helped me, my partner is very stable, faithful and closer to me than before. You can also contact this spell caster and get your relationship fix Email: urgentspellcast@gmail.com see more reviews about him on his website: http://urgentspellcast.website2.me Call or WhatsApp: +1 (424) 330-8109

These projects are so imaginative! That being said, why don't you make an 8x8 box that Scrapper's could use to make a mini in a box that could hold a decent amount of photos? While these projects have value, they are primarily decorative. I would like to see a product that is more functional. It'all about the pictures/memories right?

MArina Blau Kitchen! That file box is to die for!! My sis would love this in her office! Seriously, this is wonderful. All of the crafts are fantastic. I wish my talent was this clean and precise. At least G45 gives us access to the most beautiful smelling paper in the world, so we can give it a go ;) ;) Thanks Graphic

Wow, Cool new ideas and ways to use the beautiful Graphic 45 lines! I love Marina's makeover for the basic mail rack that I can use to make my office brighter with rather than the kitchen. Susan's little box suitcase also will look great with the Graphic 45 Safari line I have, although I hate to cut it up. Great work, R-JZ

Henderson Elizabeth Dr joy is a trust worthy spell caster and he will be of great help to you. I never believed in spell casting but After 4 years of marriage my husband left me because I lost my womb, and i was unable to give birth to children. I felt like my life has come to an end, and i almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time, but thanks to this spell caster called Dr joy whom i met online after my friend Becky Ross told me how he also helped her to bring back her husband in less than 2 days. I believed her and decided to give Dr joy a try and i contacted him on his email joylovespell@gmail.com. and explained my problems to him. He laughed and told me that In less than 2 days, my Husband will come back to me again, and that he will restore my womb and i will give birth to children. At first i thought it was a joke but i took courage and believed as Dr joy has said and it did happen just as this Great spell caster said, My husband called me and was crying, begging for forgiveness. I forgive him and today i am so glad that all worries and problems has gone away, and we are even happier than before, another good news is that i am pregnant now, and very soon we will have our baby. Dr joy is really a gifted and a powerful spiritual man and i will not stop publishing him because he is a wonderful man. I advice you all If you have a problem and you are looking for a real and genuine spell caster to solve all your problems just Contact Dr joy on his email on joylovespell@gmail.com. because he will always help you to solve all problems. Once again thank you Dr joy. Thank you, thank you. you can also call him or add him on Whats-app: +2347088404185.
