ADVENT CALENDAR POP-UP CARD

“Hello G45ers!

This is Sabaa and I welcome you all to my beautiful world of creativity.

I am extremely excited to share my today’s project with you all, which I named “ADVENT CALENDAR POP-UP CARD”.

Who doesn’t love to work on pop-up projects? This time we will make the card look flat and pop out as a Christmas tree once we open it. Cool… isn’t it?

I just can’t hold my excitement enough to share the process. Before that let me share a few more pictures of the end product.

I have used white Cardstock as base.

Pattern used is Twas the Night Before Christmas Deluxe Collector’s Edition from Graphic 45 .

I have taken 8*12” White Cardstock and scored it at 2”, 4’, 6’, 8”, 10” .

And one strip of 1” * 8” and scored it at ½”.

Now I have pasted pattern paper on the inside part of it.

Paper paper size: 1 ¾” * 7 ¾” (6 pcs)

Now using 1”*8” strip, we will join both end of 8”*12” paper and will make it in cylendrical shape.

Now let’s prepare foldable boxes. Measurements are as below:

Base Card: 2” * 8 ¼” (6 pcs)

Score at 2, 4, 6, 8 inches

Base Card: 2” * 6 ½” (6)

Score at 2, 3, 5, 6 inches

Base Card: 2” * 5 ½” (6)

Score at 2, 2 ½, 4 ½, 5 inches

Pattern Paper measurements are as below:

Big Box: 1 ¾” * 1 ¾” (12)

Middle Box: 1 ¾” * ¾” (6)

Small Box: 1 ¾” *1/2” (6)

According to the score line we will fold and make it in the below shown design.

First, we will paste the pattern paper on the inside part of the box. You can refer to the YouTube video here.

Once that is done, we will paste all the boxes one by one as per the video. And decorate the top part of the boxes as per your creativity. Now we will add the elements and decorate the top part using a sticker sheet.

For calendar date, I have taken printout online and pasted it on each box.

And that’s how our super colorful, interactive, pop-up Advent Calendar is ready.
