Altered Circle Box Tutorial
By Aya El
“Hello G45ers! I’m so happy to share with all of you my first project using the new 2021 Staples.
I love alter boxes using papers and this what I did to the Stacking Circle Box Set.
I used French Country – Deluxe Collector’s Edition.

Here are the steps:
1- I fussy cut the rooster from the french country paper pad.
2-then, to cover my frame sides, I measured them and cut some papers accordingly. Then I glued them on with liquid glue.
Tip: Since the main focus of the project will be in the top, I used some simple patterns to cover the sides.
3-Finally, I stacked several embellishments and die-cuts to create a unique look of depth.
Tip: Before gluing any of the embellishments, try arranging and moving them around till you are content with their placement. Take several pictures then begin gluing them.
I hope you like my project as much as I do.” ~Aya

Thank you for lovely tutorial. Your boxes are beautiful.
If I wanted to use rice paper to cover boxes, what type of adhesive would I use?
Thank you.
Hello Susan, I have never used rice paper, however when using vellum I have always used a glue stick due to Annette Green’s recommendation. So perhaps try swatching a bit of rice paper on a kraft surface to see how it looks before jumping in? Hope this helps. Happy Papercrafting!
