How to Turn Paper into a Gorgeous Wall Hanging
Tutorial by Anna Sigga
“Hello fellow crafters.
The Let it Bee Keepsake Kit is an absolute stunner: beautiful patterned papers, stickers, ephemera, and gorgeous exclusive die-cuts.
Let it Bee – Keepsake Kit with Metal Die is sold out, but not to worry, the Let it Bee – Keepsake Edition is still available.
I wanted to create a small wall piece using this beautiful collection and showcase the gorgeous sunflowers and die cuts.
I used a thick chipboard piece as the backing, cut to 7 ¼ x 5 ¼ inches, and painted it black.
Use our Black Chipboard Sheets and skip the painting.
I cut the patterned papers into two different sizes: 6 ½ x 4 ½ inches and 6 ½ x 4 inches.
The I inked the edges of the patterned papers adn distressed the edges using scissors or a paper distressing tool.
To add more dimension to the wall piece, I used leftover chipboard as a backing for each of the patterned papers.

I used two of the die-cuts from the kit with glitter papers. The hexagon pattern was cut double to create more stability, and the bee-banner part was used to create several individual bees.
Then all that is left to do is to decorate the piece as you wish adn hang it up to admire.” ~Anna

Crafting Tips to Try:
- Use chipboard for structure:
Thick chipboard makes the perfect base for home décor pieces—strong, sturdy, and easy to customize. - Paint it black (or bold!):
A simple coat of black paint makes colors pop and adds a polished finish. - Add layers with dimension:
Use leftover chipboard or foam dots to lift layers of paper for extra visual interest. - Distress for texture:
Rough up those paper edges with scissors or a distressing tool to give your piece a rustic, handmade feel. - Don’t forget the glitter:
Anna used glitter cardstock with the metal dies for a little sparkle—it’s a great way to catch the light and add a playful touch.
Whether you’re looking to brighten your space or try something new, this Sunflower Wallpiece is a must-try! Watch Anna’s full video tutorial to follow along step-by-step.
