Book Page Protector with Home Sweet Home
By Sandra D
“Hi G45’ers and welcome back to the blog
Do you hate it when you have your journal in your bag
and your book gets bent corners
Well today I am sharing how to adjust your
Journal so this won’t happen again
Begin by removing all the components of your
Travel Album
The books slide out very easy from underneath the elastic
Also, remove the Elastic Closer
You need 3 of the Large Tag
Cut 3 strips of black cardstock 2” x 7”
Score 2 of these in half @1”
Take the third and score at ½” and 1 ½”
I like to cut a triangle of the tops, see pic
The one on the left has a section cut off so that the piece will sit above
your pocket in the Travel Album
Once you have glued them together they will look like this
Next start to decorate with your choice of papers
I have used “Granny Quits” and “Handmade”
I then put panels of paper for Important Info on these panels
Panel sizes are Black card 3 ¼” x 7 ¼”
Cream Sizes 3 ⅛” X 7 ⅛”
Tip:
Keep scraps of papers to create small banners.
Place Cover to one side and Decorate the Note Books
Place books back into the cover of the Travel Album and carefully then fold the tags over,
two at the back one at the front this will then protect your pages
Continue to decorate as you wish
We have a few tutorials on how to do this.
