Christmas Resin Coasters

By LV Handcrafted

“Hi G45ers! This is Linh (@LVHandcrafted) and today I am sharing something a little new to me – resin coasters! After making my first set of coasters, I just fell in love so I had to create some using G45 papers!  I’ve made three sets of coasters using each of the latest Christmas Collections – Warm Wishes, Twas The Night Before Christmas and Let It Snow. Since the papers are sealed under the resin, they are protected from the environment and will stay beautiful for a very long time.

If you want to check out how to make your own resin coaster, watch this video.

If you like the coasters above, I made a different set using the Charmed Collection! I have two separate videos for this project. The first video shows how to make the resin coaster. The second video shows how to make the custom gift/storage box for the coasters.

TIP OF THE DAY!

Find a basic shape die that is slightly smaller than your coaster. Use that die to cut an aperture from the center of a sheet of scrap paper.  Now you have a Preview Mask that you can move around your pattern paper to find the perfect spot to die cut! When you’re ready, you can place your die into that aperture, place low-tack tape across the die, mask and your pattern paper and then die cut!
