Circle Card Set Tutorial

Hello, G45ers!

Try a new shape out for your handmade cards and mini albums, perhaps a circle or star?  Today on the Graphic 45 blog, Crêté Angélique aka Boule de Scrap shows us how this magical Let it Bee Circle Card Set came together in an easy to follow step by step tutorial.  These cards have been inspired by our #ClubG45LeveledUp series, the series where we ask our Brand Ambassadors to take one of our project sheets and make it their own.

“Hello everyone,

today, I come to present my creation for the #ClubG45 challenge.

I selected the sublime project of Maria Cole, “Circle Box Set Organizer & Mini Album”.

His magnificent album, inspired me to do a series of cards that I present to you today.

Graphic45 Supplies:

Others Supplies:
  • White Gesso

  • Glimmermist sprays (Gold, Bronze, Black)

  • Black Pen

  • Embellishments

  • Glue

  • Cardstock Kraft

-Step by Step Tutorial-

Trace on a Cardstocks kraft paper, two overlapping circles of 15 cm in diameter.

Reproduce 2 times, to make two cards.

Cut to the same dimensions 8 circles to cover the inside and outside of your cards.

Before gluing our papers, we will ink the edges of our papers.

To bring a little contrast, we are going to draw lines in black pencil on our papers, and put touches of white, using white paint (Gesso).

Finally, we will decorate our card with the patterns of our choice, some embellishments and flowers.” ~Boule
