Midnight Tales Circle Album Tutorial

“Hi everyone!

This time, i have to say i got out of my comfort zone with the collection. Yes i did… because of this color combination, i never use orange an purple, ahah, they aren’t my favorite colours!! However, I fell in love with the little witches, the pumpkins that i love, and of course the design of page after page is so magical and engaging, that as usual left me enchanted. It was a lot of fun to create this album, almost if each page had a story, with the little playful leprechauns running through everything with their tricks. Hope you enjoy this collection as much as i do. So let me show you all the details of this album!!

The entire collection has purple, orange, green and black, if you never saw it on your hands i think you should, it’s magical!!

The covers and pages were created with graphic 45 chipboard. For the covers i took two pieces and glued together, for the pages you don’t need two, only one. The ring on the binding is from graphic 45 tags albums, as well as the key, it’s also from graphic 45. I also used some chipboards, ribbons and gears to embellish this chain!! I love little details!

You can see here that this becomes a chunky album, because i add a lot of dimension on the pages, as you will see on the full video tutorial at the end of this post.

I made a big shaker on the cover as you can see, because i looooove shakers!! I also put a lot of beads and glitter all over this album to make it more magical and shiny!!

I sew all the round pages with white string so it gives a good contrast with the colours and the black details!! I love to sew my papers once in a while, i like the effect and texture that it gives to my project, and i think this is a good TIP for you too, if you like this look!!

You can see i add some black graphic 45 flowers too, with copper wax, micro beads, glitter and mica flakes!!

I love to create layers with fussy cut elements from the papers, pieces of chipboard, ephemera die cuts, metal elements and some sparkle with micro beads, mica flakes and glitter.

The pockets on my album is awesome to add my journaling cards, photos and other fun memories that i want to keep.

If you liked my album, just jump on the full tutorial i prepare for you, and give me your feedback!! Thank you so much!
