Craft Room Tour

By Aleksandra Mihelič

“Hello hello, again dear Graphic 45 friends and fans. It’s my time again to spoil you here on this amazing Graphic 45 blog and today I have for you something that we all like to “explore”. I love seeing other crafter’s studios and craft rooms, storage tips and tricks. And if you are the same, then I truly hope you will enjoy today’s post, since I have some photos and tips with my craft studio tour. I feel really blessed to be able to have such a lovely place to create for myself. It’s one of my favourite rooms in our home and I recently renovated and reorganized it. It’s not totally finished yet, there are some things that still need to be done, but it’s pretty much like I want it to be eventually. I like it, I feel inspired in it and I love spending time in it. I hope you will like it too.

Here is my computer station. 🙂 I do some Graphic designing too so I need a bit bigger computer screen. It makes my work a lot easier.

I’m quite a visual person so I love to play with home decorations. I love this little “island” with my craft supplies that I made on my cabinet. Isn’t this lantern gorgeous? There are some amazing things hidden in it, including Graphic 45 Decades Ink Pads

Whenever I’m at the seaside, I try to find some seashells and I already have a lovely collection of them. They are waiting for my summer projects to join them. They would be a perfect match with the amazing Graphic 45 Sun Kissed and By the Sea DCE collections. What do you think?

And of course, I have to have a lot of paper flowers at my hand! I love adding flowers to my projects, so each corner of my craft studio is pretty filled up with various flower types and brands. Graphic 45 flowers, of course, have their own spot in their own special beautiful wooden crate.

I also keep all my Graphic 45 Staples, policy envelopes, tags, journaling cards in a special wooden crate sitting at hand on the shelf near my desk. Another small basket is filled with Graphic 45 metal embellishments and with Graphic 45 chipboards.

I also have my Graphic 45 washi tapes at hand in a small jar. I have to have all my stash somewhere on the open. If I don’t look at my crafting materials every day, they stay stuck at the bottom of my drawers and I tend to never use them.

I have a few different solutions for my Graphic 45 paper storage. I have bigger paper pads and collections (12×12) stored in a box. But I have the newly released Graphic 45 collections on a special wooden shelves, so that I pay extra attention to them.

Small Graphic 45 paper pads are stored in a drawer, where I also store all my Graphic 45 boxes and albums to alter.

Since I love creating in mixed media techniques, I have lots of mixed media supplies stored in my drawers too.

And of course, I couldn’t forget my beautiful happy Rainbow shelves.

But from all the parts of my craft studio my favourite part of all are the shelves where I have my art projects displayed. Looking at my projects makes me happy, gives me inspiration and brings a smile to my face. I hope it will cheer you up too!

And this is also the point where our Craft studio tour ends. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope I maybe gave you some fresh storage ideas and tips.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to join me. Enjoy your summer days and I’ll see you soon again with some of my fresh Graphic 45 projects.

Hugs.” ~Aleksandra

Happy Papercrafting!
