Hello there, I’m Creatively Michelle!

A little about me: I am a married mom to four wonderful adult sons living in Chino, California USA. I have a deep passion for paper crafting and love sharing my projects with others. My favorite creations are mini albums, which I find incredibly satisfying to create and design. My journey into the world of scrapbooking began in 1998, and ever since, I have been completely hooked.

I am thrilled and deeply honored to have been chosen as a Brand Ambassador for Graphic 45. This is a dream come true for me, and I am excited to start this creative journey. For my introductory project, I wanted to create something that truly reflects my love for color and vibrancy. The collection that has captured my heart since its release is “Let’s Get Artsy.” With it, I crafted a charming 6” floral album, bursting with life and creativity.

I’m excited to share that my first official tutorial for Graphic 45 is now available on YouTube! In this video, I walk you through the steps of creating the floral album, from start to finish. My hope is that through my creations, I can inspire others to explore their own creative potential and find joy in the art of scrapbooking as much as I do.

Let’s Get Artsy Floral Mini Album

Hello Crafters,

This month’s design team assignment is a “Self-Portrait” project that reflects my personal style as a paper crafter. If you know me, you’ll know that I have a deep love for Frida Kahlo and vibrant colors. When I first laid eyes on the Let’s Get Artsy collection, I was completely and totally in love. The florals and artwork from this collection are stunning, and including pieces from Van Gogh made it even more special. This collection is full of color and textures that let my creative imagination run wild, and I hope I leave you inspired

My style involves making my mini albums pop by layering each piece of ephemera to give it a 3D effect. I love using foam dots to add dimension and incorporating little floral sprays to tuck in as needed.

For this floral album, I used the Flower Shaker Mini Album die by Scrap Diva Designs to create the cover and inner pages. The album measures 6”x6”. I created a small spine using my We R Memory Keepers score board to adhere the cover and pages together. You can find my tutorial on how I put it all together here.
