Nature Layout & Card Tutorial
By Babi Kind
“Hello, G45ers!
In today’s post, I’m sharing with you a couple of projects with Nature Sketchbook and Safari Adventure collections.
Looking that this beautiful pattern paper I was inspired to create a light and airy layout.
To create a transition between the papers and add a bit of texture, I added gesso and modeling paste using a spatula.
The leaves were created using this collection and also other die cuts to match.
Using a mesh cloth and art stone you can the “garden” a little fuller.
My second project was also created with Nature Sketchbook and Safari Adventure. These collections worked beautifully together.
You can check this card tutorial at the end of the post.
I embossed the frame and colored with a brown distress ink.
As always I add lots of flowers and die cut pieces to decorate my project.
Tip: Add vellum paper on a frame to create a soft transition to your pattern paper.
