“There’s something incredibly special about creating a handmade piece that holds not just photos, but emotions, memories, and love. This Mother’s Day, I wanted to design something unique—something that feels like a gift in itself even before it is opened. And that’s how this PURSE SHAPED ALBUM came to life, crafted with the beautiful Always & Forever Collection by Graphic 45.
When I think of mothers, I think of elegance, warmth, and timeless beauty. A purse symbolizes all of that—graceful, functional, and something a woman carries close to her heart. So instead of a traditional album, I designed this piece in the shape of a delicate handbag, making it both a keepsake and a statement décor piece.
The pastel tones, soft florals, and vintage textures from the Always & Forever Collection perfectly complemented this vision. The blend of peachy pinks, muted greens, and subtle gold accents creates a dreamy, feminine aesthetic—just right for celebrating motherhood.
Purse-Style Structure
The album is designed like a mini handbag, complete with a sturdy curved handle on top. This not only adds charm but also makes it easy to carry or display beautifully on a shelf.
Flap Closure with Elegant Details
The front features a soft curved flap, adorned with delicate stripes and finished with a beautiful bow embellishment. The subtle gold outlining enhances the luxurious feel of the piece. One of my favourite parts is the handcrafted floral arrangement on the front. I’ve layered paper flowers, leaves, fillers, and tiny embellishments to create depth and texture. These beautiful flowers are made using the metal dies from Botanical Tea Keepsake Kit with Exclusive Metal Die-Set .The addition of butterflies, pearls, and a hint of sparkle brings the entire composition to life.
Interactive Pages Inside
Inside the purse lies a set of carefully designed pages, each holding pockets and inserts. These can be used to add photos, handwritten notes, or little messages for mom—making it a truly personal gift.
