Tamara Morton – United Kingdom

2024-2025 Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador

Hi, my name is Tamara, I live in a sleepy little village in the Lincolnshire countryside in England.  I share my life with my daughter and two cuddly Chihuahuas.

I have been a serious papercrafter for many years and have dabbled in other areas such as mixed media, stamping and even painting. I began as a card maker after receiving a handmade card from a family member and I haven’t looked back since. Although cardmaking was the start of my journey, I quickly fell in love with the art of mini books and album making. I love constructing the outer boxes and finding ways to incorporate the albums within them. I also created a YouTube channel in 2015 to share tutorials and techniques with the community.

I found Graphic 45 after seeing the amazing works of past ambassadors and quickly became a huge fan of their papers. It has been a dream come true to be selected as an ambassador for this brand and look forward to sharing my passion and inspiration with the other lovely crafters in our community.

Gatefold Mini Album

Tutorial by Tamara Morton

“I have designed a lovely little Gatefold Album using the Flights of Fancy collection. I love this paper as Hummingbirds are one of my favourite birds so to have them in this collection’s imagery is just wonderful.   I have made great use of the chipboard pieces as well as the Rub-Ons which are just so easy to use.

The brief was “Self Portrait in Paper”, so this book, is me to a T. I like to use many different styles and techniques on my projects, acetate being one of my favourite mediums to use in albums.  As the pages interlock, I have created a shaker style page on one side and a 6×4 photo frame on the other.  As we flip through the album you will find that I have used the regular Graphic 45 tags in a very different way.

It might be a small book, but I have packed in a lot of flips, flaps pockets and found so many different ways to make the photo mats and tags more of a decorative feature.”
