Teresa Cruz – Portugal

2024-2025 Graphic45 Grand Brand Ambassador

“Hi everyone!

I am here again, representing Graphic 45, that is one of my most favorite brand to work with! I am so grateful to be part of this team!!

For those that doesn’t know me, let me introduce myself:

I’m Teresa Cruz from Portugal, and Andor Violeta is my artistic / designer name.

I am a Virginian woman, mother of two boys, one with 10 and other with 5 years old, and I am married with an amazing husband.

I love my country so much, that almost every year our vacations are in our own country, because of the good food, weather and beaches.

I remember starting this creative passion back in 2008 when I bought my first sizzix machine. But all this creative world is my second job now, because my daily and principal job is working in the city hall with the programs for older people.

In this creative world i love to make albums especially the covers, love to make layouts, cards and tags, upcycle projects and also some mixed media.

DIY Watermelon mini album Tutorial

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

Now, for my introduction, and to express myself as an artist I prepared a fun project, that really makes me smile, hope it makes you smile too. Of course i used the most amazing collection for that, that is the new Sunshine on my Mind, and i created a DIY Watermelon mini album, that i think is very easy to make and so fun to see how it turns out!

I am sure some of the photos of my kids will match perfectly in this mini album with this happy papers.

Let’s see some photos and in the end of this post you have my full video tutorial!

My favorite part of a project is decorate, the cover, the pages, the details. And with Graphic 45 we have a lot of embellishments for that, the ephemera, the chipboards, the stickers and the run-ons, so it’s a lot of fun and easy to use, because they are all ready to go.

One of my favorite embellishments are the graphic 45 rub-ons. Did you already try to apply them on top of a dark colour, it will look great too.

The pages of my album are easy to prepare because they are all the same size pocket pages. All you have to do is make the mould and prepare them all and then add the final touches to make your album shine bright.
