Cover Tutorial – Binder Album
By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta
“Hi everyone!
Today i want to share with you my very first Ivory Binder Album with Interactive pages I used. I decided to decorate and use this amazing album for a very special project. I promise my friend i would make an album for her granddaughter as a baptism gift.
Of course i also had to choose the Little One collection from Graphic 45, because i love this collection so much. I find this collection very good for both girl or boy. I made this one for a girl, so i tried to use more flowers and more of the pink papers, but since this collections has so many yellows and greens, it’s so soft and good for both baby boy and baby girl.
I know you can’t find this collection on Graphic 45 site, but maybe you still have some on your stash or on your local / online favorite shop. And of course, you can see any collection you want, i know you will love to use this binder album, it’s an amazing size, with many many amazing pages, already ready to use and decorte, that for me it’s just the best part.
Let’s see some photos and in the end of this post you can check the full flip through and video tutorial of the cover.
As you can see i used many flowers, fussy cutted elements from the paper collection, die cuts, laces, soft fabric, pearls, crystals and glitter for this album. They are all a must have when you want to create a cute album for any occasion.
When i decorated this album i was thinking how amazing it is and perfect for you photos, because of the size. Also it’s good to use your 8*8 paper collection. I used an entire paper collection to decorate this one, and even some 12*12 papers. But the best part when you album is this size and your papers are almost all 8*8, it that you don’t lose a lot of paper cutting it, and you almost have no left overs also.
I separated one of each page type, like three different sections, using at first, this dividers you can see on the photo. If you like, you can also add some of the graphic 45 ivory tags on this pockets for more space to journal or adding photos.
I used almost every page that comes inside this albums. The only ones i didn’t use was three of the simple pages, and i find this come out great even without those. It still have a lot of pages to use.
You can see i used some elements i fussy cutted from the 8*8 paper collection and also some die cuts from the die cuts assortment pack to add just a minimal and tiny details here and there.
This was so fun to put together, I hope you find this inspiring. Enjoy the tutorial I prepared for you and also the flip through of the entire album so you can see every detail inside!!
