Create DIY Easel Cards That Really Stand Out
Step-By-Step Instructions
- I used kraft cardstock as the base for my card. Measurements for the card are: 15 cm x 12 cm.
Score the card in half and then score the front cover at 6 cm from the half mark to create the fold for it to stand up.
- I cut some pieces from white cardstock and pattern paper to fit the card and layered them onto the cover and the inside of the card.
- I applied one of the berries from the rub on transfer onto a piece of white cardstock and then glued one of the chipboard frames onto it.
- I decorated both the front and the inside of the card with the chipboard, ephemera pieces and stickers. I used a piece of chipboard element on the inside for the cover of the card to rest against when opened up.
- I then finished the card off by adding some flatback pearls.
Thanks for stopping by!”

G45 Tip: Build Once, Create Forever
One of the best things about an easel card is that once you learn the fold, you can use it again and again. Keep a simple template in your craft room, then customize each card with different Graphic 45 collections, sentiments, embellishments, and colors. Whether you’re creating a cheerful birthday card, an elegant wedding card, a festive holiday greeting, or a heartfelt thank you, this timeless design always delivers beautiful dimension and a memorable presentation.
