“Hello, hello crafty friends!

Today I’m making something that’s cute and full of spring goodness! It’s a desktop pop-up card using the beautiful Graphic 45 “Spring is in the Air” collection—because who doesn’t want a tiny window into spring sitting on their table?

3D Spring Pop-Up Card Process Video

Materials Used:

Graphic 45 “Spring Is in the Air” collection
Large Tag, ATC Tag, and Flower Dies
Photogenic Black Trim
Scoring board & paper trimmer
Strong adhesive
Diecut window frame

Step-by-Step:

Base First:
Start with a card base of 8″ x 5 1/4″. I gave mine a soft arch at the top, because we’re making a little window to peek into springtime, and we want it fancy.
Pattern Paper Time:
Cover your base with a leafy pattern paper from the collection. You can totally go wild here with florals, pastels, or even tiny bunnies if that’s your thing.
Pop-Up Element #1:
- Cut a piece of 9″ x 5 3/8″ paper
- Score it at 2”, 4”, 6” & 8” lengthwise
- Fold and stick it into a box shape, then attach it to the base.
- Cover that little box with pretty pattern paper
Pop-Up Element #2 :
- Take a 6 1/8” x 3” paper strip
- Score it at 3” & 5”
- Cover it up with matching pattern papers and stick it to your base like a pop-up step.
Make It Pretty:
- Diecut a window frame and attach it on the base
- Start layering with chipboard and ephemera pieces from the same collection.
- Add foliage from the Large Tag, ATC Tag, and Flower Dies
- Tie a bit of Photogenic Black Trim across the window for some drama.

And just like that… your card is ready to stand proudly on your desk like a mini spring masterpiece!
