Little Women – A Box with a Sliding Closure

By Alexandra Morein

“I love to create boxes and every time I sit down to make a box, I want it to be special in something. Sometimes I succeed less in this, sometimes more.

My today’s box has a sliding closure, which has been created out of medium weight chipboard, like the rest of the box. I’ve added a tiny shadow box to a closure, and attached a metal envelope charm to it too.

To protect the contents of the box from being scratched or damaged by the sliding “buckle”, I’ve created an acetate insert, which is put into the box right on top of the notebook.

The notebook has also been created from scratch, with plain photocopy papers, bound in the Coptic stitch binding method.

I hope you like my today’s share and this inspires you to create with the gorgeous Little Women by Graphic 45.” ~Alexandra
