DIY Paper Easter Baskets

Hello, G45ers!

With Easter hopping around the corner, we thought it was the perfect time for a #SimplyG45 Paper Easter Basket step by step tutorial, by Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Joanne Bain.  These small baskets would be great as place card holders for Sunday dinner and fun party favors, and can be done up with fussy cuts and paper bows, or left on the more simple side for a kid-friendly version.  Grab your pastel papers and get ready to create some magic with this Snapguide tutorial.

“Hello, G45er’s!!

Joanne here with you today to share some sweet little Easter Gift Baskets created with the gorgeous Once Upon A Springtime collection. What is even better is these are a #SimplyG45 project which means they cost less than $10 and can be done in one hour or less.

All that you will need to create these cute little gift baskets is patterned paper from the collection of your choice. I chose to use Once Upon A Springtime collection because I just adore the rabbits and fairies.

Each of the basket bases are created exactly the same way, it only the decorative fronts that are different. The longest part of these baskets is the little bit of fussy cutting needed for the layered cluster on the front if you choose to add it.

You can find my Snapguide tutorial below that will show you step by step how to create the basic paper basket, as I said earlier in the post the bases are all the same so let your imagination go wild and create your own cute front clusters for your little gift baskets.

#G45Tip: When you need an embellishment the coordinates with a project why not try making a paper bow. I have created coordinating paper bows many times and they are perfect for adding a little extra detail and dimension to your projects
