DIY Planner – July Edition By Magda Cortez

Hello, G45ers!

Welcome back to the Graphic 45 blog, home of daily craft inspiration courtesy of our talented design team. Today, we are going to take a closer look at Magda Cortez's July pages from her magnificent Graphic 45 planner. This planner features a ton of beautiful collections including Vintage Hollywood, Children's Hour, and Safari Adventure. Magda shares a closer look at her planner to get a feel for how she designs each week. The detail she has put into each one is incredible. Check it out below. 

 

July Planner

"Hi, G45ers!! It’s me again, now with the JULY Spread from my 2017 G45 Planner!! This time I’m going to show you the month and also the complete weeks using different collections for each week! I hope you like it!!!!

 

This is my Divider…I used the Children’s Hour Collection and also the stickers for JULY

On the left-hand side is the Monthly Goals and I also decorate it using pieces of the same page!

 

 

 

Here is my MONTH. Those poppy flowers are so beautiful!! Remember this is before the pencil. Later during the month, I’m going to start filling all the blanks!

 

 

 

 

 

Here is my first week from the 3rd to the 9th of July! I decided to use reds and blues because of the 4th of JULY!! Patriotic, but also with a touch of Summer beach days!

 

 

 

 

For my second week from the 10th to the 16th, I use Voyage Beneath the Sea. What a beautiful spread! I love the turquoises and the oranges!! As you can see I don’t use washi tape. The page with the borders is perfect for this purpose!! Also, I use some of the sentiments from the Happy Planner and some Stickers from the Voyage Beneath the Sea collection.
 

 

 

 

This is my 3rd week, from the 17th to the 23rd. I love love this week! I use Safari Adventure and it looks so elegant!! The borders are perfect and the stickers complete the page! Did you like my pen collection?

 

 

 

 

And for my last week of JULY, from the 24th to the 30th, the Nature Sketchbook collection is perfect!! I love the butterflies. I had fussy cut a lot of the images I used in the planner in advance and didn't end up using them all previously, so now was the perfect time to use everything!!
