“Hello everyone!
Crafting with Graphic 45 is always an enchanting experience, and today, I’m excited to share my latest project—a beautifully decorated Trinket Box! This little box is not just a stylish deco Curiouser & Curiouser piece, but also a functional storage solution for small treasures.
I designed this Trinket Box using the stunning Curiouser & Curiouser Collection, bringing rich colors, intricate patterns, and whimsical imagery. The combination of scrapbook paper, metal hardware, and embellishments creates a vintage-inspired yet elegant look, making this box a true statement piece.
A – 7” x 4 ½” (17.8 x 11.4 cm) – 2 pcs
B – 7” x 2 ½” (17.8 x 6.4 cm) – 2 pcs
C – 4 ⅝” x 2 ½”(11.7 x 6.4 cm) – 2 pcs
D – 7” x ¾” (17.8 x 1.9 cm) – 2 pcs
E – 4 ⅝” x ¾” (11.7 x1.9 cm) – 2 pcs
I cut and assembled chipboard pieces to construct the box, reinforcing all the joints with sturdy black cardstock strips. This technique ensures durability and a seamless finish. Once the base and lid were securely built, I covered them with beautiful patterned papers, carefully selecting designs that complement each other and enhance the overall aesthetic.
The real magic happens in the details! I added metal corners, hinges, and a clasp, giving the box a refined, antique feel. For extra dimension, I embellished the lid with rhinestones, decorative borders, and metallic accents, adding a touch of elegance and sparkle.
This Trinket Box is a wonderful project for anyone who loves handmade storage solutions with a vintage flair. It’s perfect for small keepsakes and jewelry or as a unique gift box for someone special.
