Today on the Graphic 45 blog we are unfolding this fun A Ladies’ Diary Folio by Brand Ambassador, Kavi Tha. This Double Fold Mini was inspired by our Double Fold Card Tutorial as a part of our #ClubG45LeveledUp series. Below you will find how Kavi took our simple card and turned it into this interactive mini album with a waterfall feature and pull out tags with oodles of space for photos and journaling.

“Hello Friends,

I am excited to share my #ClubG45LeveledUp project with you all using one of my very favorite A Ladies’ Diary – Deluxe Collector’s Edition, its infact one of my first few collections I got from Graphic45

I decided to upscale the “Double fold card”” from #club45 vol 2 2019 and turn it into a fun little folio with added tags and pockets.I also add a waterfall element on one side which gives more space for photos

Step by Step Tutorial:

My folio measures 5 ½ by 7 ½ inches and the second card measure 4 ½ by 6 ½ inches and the strip measure 1 ½ by 7 ½ inches

Take a 7 ½ by 11 ½ inches black card stock and and score at 5 ½ and 6 inches on the long side.For the strip take 2 by 7 ½ inches and score at ½ inch.Attach the strip to the base

To make the waterfall base take one piece of 5 by 7 inches cardstock.For the flaps take seven pieces of 4 by 5 inches cardstock and score at ½ inch and stick them to the base one by one.

To make the clouser take a strip of 2 by 6 ½ inches and score at ½ inch long side and glue it to the backside .Add magnets on the first flap and to the strip using double sided tape

I decorated the cover with few fussy elements from the paper pad.The paper itself was so beautiful that you don’t need anything extra to decorate

For the first flap I left space for a large 4 by 6 photo one one side and added a pocket on the other side.I added some cut aparts fussy cut elements to decorate it

Here is another space for a large photo of 5 by 7 size

I added a double pocket on left side and kept two black rectangular tags,trimmed of the second one a little to fit in.Again the pocket is decorated with cut aparts and fussy cut elements
