#ClubG45: Christmas Time Double Shutter Card

By Tanya Cloete

“Hello dear G45ers!

I am happy to share my project this month featuring the stunning Graphic 45 Christmas Time collection.

I created a Shutter Card by Ginger Ropp from the G45 Card Club Vol 8.

I added a smaller Shutter Card on top of the original, creating a Double Shutter Card.

Have a look here for the amazing tutorial on how to put this card together by the lovely Charee Filimoehala.

Herewith the Supplies and Instructions you may use to recreate such a project:

G45 Supplies used:

Christmas Time Collection

Other Supplies used:

Bow Cutting Die

Star Cutting Die

Scoring Board

 Black Cardstock

Foam Adhesive Squares

Brad (Santa Hat)

I created the normal size Shutter Card as per the original project by Ginger Ropp. I then added a smaller shutter card on top with the following measurements:

Card Base: 10″ x 4″

Score each side at 2 1/2″ x 7 1/2″

Window piece: 5″ x 3 1/2″ I used a star cutting die to cut the shape

‘Shutter’ piece measure the same size as

the original (7 1/2″ x 3 1/2″)

Fussy cut some elements from the collection and a bow, assemble and fasten with a Santa hat brad, to decorate the card on the outside and inside.

Cut two strips from the collection; this will be used for the belly band.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Papercrafting!”
