“Today I’m thrilled to share a creative project featuring the brand new BetterPress Plates from the Magic of Oz collection by Graphic 45, created in collaboration with Spellbinders. These beautifully detailed plates bring the beloved Wizard of Oz characters to life in a truly magical way.
For this project, I focused on pressing and stamping all of the character designs, highlighting their intricate details and elegant line work. I filmed a dedicated process video showing how I use the BetterPress Plates, it’s really easy.
After pressing the images, I moved on to one of my favorite parts of the process — coloring. In my YouTube video tutorial, I walk you through my full coloring process, showing how I add depth, personality, and warmth to each character while preserving the classic charm of the Wonder of Oz paper collection.
With this I hope to inspire you to explore the creative possibilities of BetterPress Plates in your own cardmaking, journaling, and mixed media projects. And did you know these plates can be used with the glimmer hot foil system!! So much fun you have to try it!
Can you imagine how many projects you can create having all of these amazing plates that stamp perfectly every time? You will have your amazing, ready to use, ephemera, that you can make over and over again. Imagine you want to make the same invitation card many times, you can, you have your plates (characters and sentiments) to use over and over again!!!
I hope you have fun creating, I had a blast making these coloring characters perfectly stamped. I have to tell you, a regular stamp doesn’t make this so perfect and with a little bit of texture, you have to try it!!
