French Country Cards
By Janus Zate
“Hello G45ers! This is Janus and I’m here to share with you some cards inspired by the #G45LightSide vs #G45DarkSide challenge. I used the French Country Deluxe Collector’s Edition for this project.
I made two cards: one focusing on the darker shades of the papers in the collection and one that has made use of the more lighter and brighter colours.
I first created two card bases (shop G45 card bases) using black and white cardstocks cut at 8” x 6” then folded it in half. I also prepared some fussy cuts of the Sunflower paper to add to both cards. I made them the core decorations for both cards, that way even though they’re making use of different color schemes, they still look like matching cards together.
Tip: Add bit of lace to give it some character! Small pieces of lace make a huge difference to your design no matter how subtle.
You can watch the full process over at my Youtube Channel.
