Christmas Card Tutorial

By Joanne Bain

Hello G45ers!!!

Joanne here with you today to share a sweet Christmas card I created with the gorgeous Christmas Magic collection. This collection is so so cute and has lots of images that can be fussy cut to make many cards.

Firstly I want to say a big thank you for all the lovely comments that are left on my Graphic 45 posts, they mean the world to me and I love reading each and every one of them and will do my best to reply to any that have questions with an answer. My most asked question is what scissors do I use to fussy cut so I am going to answer that question here for you all and hopefully it will help you to maybe enjoy fussy cutting a little more. I use Spring Cut Fine Detail Scissors by Tonic Studios.

I fussy cut A LOT as you all know and these are the best I have found. They put no stress on your hands as they are spring loaded and no annoying finger holes. I have had mine for many years and I love them.

Ok now I need to get onto sharing my Christmas card which of course features fussy cutting and I have also created a Snapguide tutorial for you to be able to create your own.

‘Merry Christmas Card’

The base of the card has been created from the back side of one of the larger Christmas Magic Journaling and Ephemera cards. These are the perfect size for the front of cards and can easily be used alone or added to as I have here.

I have cut multiple border strips from the Gifting Gala pattern paper and layered. The main cluster feature of the card was created with fussy cut images cut from Countdown Surprise and Happy Holly Days patterned papers.

How super cute is that!!

Below you can see how I created this sweet card with my Snapguide tutorial.
