SimplyG45 Gift Card Holders

"You only need to look at the 8×8 Winter Wonderland Paper Pad to be inspired to create several gift card holders.  These are made with the Graphic 45 ATC Policy Envelopes and are quick and easy to create.  If you have 45 minutes to 1 hour of extra time, you can make all of these and really dress up your presentation of gift cards this holiday season!  In my Snapguide tutorial, I share three ways to create fancier holders and then three super simple holders you can make quicker than Santa coming down the chimney.  It’s a marvelous magical time of the year and we are all so busy but these gift card holders are what you need to get some relaxing crafting time while watching a favorite holiday show.

Gift Card Holder Step by Step Tutorial

Graphic 45 Supplies:

Staples - Policy Envelopes-ATC Red

Other Supplies:

  • Button  String or Twine
  • Glue
  • Wink of Stella, Clear
  • Nuvo Glitter Drops, White or Clear

Tip#1:
For some of these gift card holders, you remove the string closures.  Don’t throw those away, save them for future projects such as mini album pockets where you do need or want such a closure.

Tip#2:
If you are in a hurry or are running out of time, you can still make beautiful gift card holders by simply adding some of the 8×8 cut-a-parts  to the front side of a policy envelope.  Fussy cut out some of the images that stick out from the frame of the cut aparts.  Tuck the gift card inside the policy envelopes and use the string closure to keep them safe and secure.

Below is a peek inside one of the fancier gift card holders.  The gift card tucks into the pocket on the left that was created from one of the Pocket & Envelopes of the Winter Wonderland collection…

I hope you are enjoying this busiest time of the year and will use this idea to create your own beautiful gift card holders.

Happy Crafting!”

~Sandy
