Today on the blog, Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Elizajane aka Tiny House Journals has taken our G45 Card Club Vol 04 for 2020 card set and adhered them together to create a Pop-Up Mini Book. This idea is what we love about the #ClubG45LeveledUp series, these added techniques really open up the creative possibilities are would be great to try with other card set ideas as well! All the Club G45 Kits are so beautifully designed and provide excellent instructions that you can’t go wrong with creating those projects, however, there are always areas to elaborate on or make adjustments to personalize it even further. I was inspired to do this with the Vol. 4 – 2020 G45 Card Club by Ginger Ropp – My Sisters Scrapper. This volume features the Fruit & Flora Collection with instructions to create three Center Pop-Out Cards. I then made an amazingly simple addition, and turned the three beautiful cards into a mini book…
Firstly…
create the three Center Pop-Out Cards, but only decorate the interior of the cards. This will leave the front and back of the cards undecorated.
Then…
cut two pieces of cardstock 2” x the height of the cards and score each piece in half. Use these 2 pieces to connect the 3 cards together.
Now…
decorate the four pages that have been added by connecting the three cards.
Next…
cover the exterior of the spine with the Graphic 45 Gold Washi Tape and add ribbon to tie the book closed.
Lastly…
Decorate the front and back covers using the instructions for the Club G45 Card Kit.
