Hand Bound Tiny Album Tutorial

Hello, G45ers!

Are you interested in learning how to make your own hand bound books?  Well, you are in luck!  Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Cecilia Zertuche teaches us how to make a One Sheet Tiny Album in a video tutorial along with an easy to follow book binding technique.  The best part of this technique is that it can be done at any size and is so versatile.  So grab some papers, needle, and thread and join in the fun!

 

Nature Notebook One Sheet Tiny Album Tutorial

“Hello G45ers! I’m so happy to share this new technique for your albums, how to make a little mini album with just one 12” x 12” sheet and sewing the binding. It is a lovely mini perfect for your small pics and make some journaling, but also as a beautiful gift! I love this technique because it matches beautifully with this stunning paper collection!

What do we need??

Supply List:

Nature Notebook – Deluxe Collector’s Edition, Diary of a Botanist sheet.

-About 2 ½”  x 3 ¼”  piece of jute.

– One needle.

-Black nylon thread.

-Liquid glue.

-UHU glue.

-Jute thread.

-2 pieces of ivory cardstock: 4 ¾” x 2 ⅞”.

-Brown distress ink.

TIP: Use a clip to hold the thread when starting sewing, but be careful to move the thread if it is entangled in the clip.

 

TIP: Use a strong adhesive to stick the covers in the jute, that will be a pocket also.

 

TIP: pull tight the thread every time you’re adding a booklet, and you’ll see how pretty it is at the end. You can use this system with any sheet size!
