Hinge Album Tutorial

Hello G45ers!

It is time for an album glow up with Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Linda Roos.  This Alice’s Tea Party Album has been inspired by Annette Green‘s Accordion Hinge Mini that has been a huge success on our YouTube channel.  We love this album because it is simple and so versatile.  So pull out your papers and play along with us!

Alice’s Tea Party  – Accordion Hinge Album

“Hi! I’m back for another project. It’s time to #G45LeveledUp another project. This is a G45 Club project vol 3 2021, Accordion Hinge Album. At first I was thinking about making it bigger and using two hinges instead of one. But then I got the beautiful folders & sentiments and it hit me that the folder is nearly the same size as the pages in the album. So instead I changed the measurements a bit to work with the folders.

With some glossy accent and small gold pearls I made the flowers bloom.

I really like that the folder sticks out a little bit from the album.

I started by choosing 8 papers that I liked the most and then I coordinated them so that they looked nice together before I started to cut them out with the folder die. Be cautious when you are going to cut out the folders so you don’t cut it upside down or backwards. I made my first backwards but I was lucky to have one more of that paper.

To create this project here is the measurements and supply list:

The measurements:

• 2 pieces of chipboard, 6 x 4

• 2 pieces of paper to wrap around the chipboard, 7 x 5

• 2 pieces of paper to matt inside of the chipboard, 5 ⅞ x 3 ⅞

• 8 folders from the die set folders & sentiments

• 8 pieces of paper to put inside the folder as a lock, 4 x 4

• 3 pieces of paper to the hinge, 3 ½ x 12

• 1 piece of acetate to the chaker, 3 ¾ x 5 ¾
