Hello, G45ers!
It is beginning to look a lot Christmas here on the Graphic 45 blog. Today, Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Aya El shares a Holiday Slimline Card Tutorial for our #G45Card Challenge. These gorgeous cards highlight our Christmas Time paper collection but they could be done with any decorative papers. Â
Holiday Slimline Card Tutorial

“Hello crafty friends and welcome to another G45 projectÂ
Today I will share with you simple holiday card designs for men. I am using a Christmas Time collection. This collection has vibrant, festive, and vintage images.
 Â
I made slimline cards and I used long dies for that. If you do not have the dies you can easily do it yourself by using a paper trimmer and scoring board. I will attach the measurements of the slimline cards. Thanks to Crystal Komara for this measurement chart.
The first cardÂ
I made this card and I had in my mind to create a shaker card but I ran out of the plastic sheets to create the window for the shaker card. Instead, I cover these windows using skeleton leaves. I added a jar topper die cut and some mat pearl gems ( to assemble a treat jar). Finally, I added a sticker from a sticker sheet that comes with the Christmas Time collection.Â
The second card is also the same idea as the first one. I left the windows open and I just added pearl gems inside them. Then I wrapped the flower stems between each window.
For the last card, I adhered the second layer in the far right then on top of it I added gold washi tape for different textures. Also added a decorative lace sticker. For my sentiment, I used a die-cut from Fairie Wings collection.
I hope you got inspired to try making these cards using G45 paper collections. Please do not forget to check other designers’ work over Graphic 45’s blog for more inspiration!” ~Aya
