Triple Waterfall Card

“A spooky interactive project using the Ghostly Greetings Collection by Graphic 45
Hey everyone! Eva here, back with another fun and slightly spooky crafting adventure. This time, I played with the brand new Ghostly Greetings collection from Graphic45 and created a Triple Waterfall Card that’s as fun to make as it is to play with.
If you love interactive cards, this one will totally steal your heart. It flips, flaps, and flows just like the perfect Halloween magic trick. Let’s jump right into the making!
Materials Used
Graphic 45 Ghostly Greetings paper collection
Kraft cardstock
Paper trimmer and scoreboard
Adhesive or glue
Scissors
Graphic 45 Tab metal die (for the pull tab)
#G45Reel
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Create the Main Waterfall Base
Take a piece of Kraft paper measuring 28.5 x 4.5 cm. Using your scoreboard or scoring tool, score at 15 cm, 16.5 cm, 18 cm, 19.5 cm, and 21 cm.
Fold along the creased lines gently. This will form the base where your waterfall panels will flip.
Step 2: Prepare the Waterfall Squares
Cut 12 small squares of Kraft paper, each measuring 4.5 x 4.5 cm. These will be your mini panels where you can later add messages, photos or spooky sentiments.
Now, cover these squares with your favorite pattern papers from the Ghostly Greetings collection. I went with a classic orange and black theme because, well, what’s Halloween without that combo?
Step 3: Attach the First Set of Waterfall Panels
Pick 4 of your decorated 4.5 x 4.5 cm squares. Paste them onto the base piece you made earlier. Stick them on the rectangular crease gaps (that’s the space between the score lines).
You’ll start seeing your waterfall mechanism take shape here—so satisfying, right?
Step 4: Add the Holding Strip
To keep your waterfall setup steady, cut another piece of Kraft paper measuring 1.5 x 8 cm.
Paste this strip on one side of your first base piece make sure it’s on the side that holds most of the waterfall elements when folded. (If that sounds confusing, don’t worry! I’ve shared a video too where you can see exactly how this works.)
We’re going to make two waterfall pieces like this.
Step 5: Make the Third Waterfall (The Reverse One!)
Now it’s time to get a little tricky because this one flips the other way!
Take another piece of Kraft paper measuring 4.5 x 19.5 cm. Score and fold at 12, 13.5, 15, 16.5, and 18 cm.
Paste the remaining 4.5 x 4.5 cm squares here, but in the reverse direction this time.
Step 6: Build the Card Base
For your main card base, cut a 15 x 30 cm piece of Kraft cardstock. Cover it with pattern papers of your choice from the Ghostly Greetings collection.
Step 7: Add the Pull Tab
No waterfall is complete without a good pull tab!
I used the Tag metal die from Graphic45 to create a detailed pull tab that ties the whole mechanism together beautifully. Attach it to your waterfall base and just like that your triple waterfall card comes to life!
And there you have it your very own Triple Waterfall Card made with the stunning Ghostly Greetings collection.
It’s got movement, magic and a little mischief perfect for surprising your favorite Halloween-loving friend.
Every time you pull the tab, it’s like flipping through tiny haunted stories. I had so much fun creating this piece and I hope it inspires you to try something interactive for your next project too!
Until next time, keep crafting and Happy Halloween”

Crafting Tips from Evanjelene
Score precisely – clean, crisp folds make your waterfall flip smoothly every time.
Mix pattern scales – combine bold prints with smaller motifs from the Ghostly Greetings collection for extra dimension.
Use sturdy cardstock – the base needs a bit of structure to support all that interactive motion.
Embellish lightly – a few die-cut tags, fussy-cut images, or metal staples go a long way without weighing it down.
Think beyond Halloween – switch up your papers to create holiday, birthday, or floral waterfall cards for any season.
We hope this spooky-chic Triple Waterfall Card inspires you to add some interactive fun to your next crafting session! Whether you’re creating a haunted greeting, a magical mini album insert, or a one-of-a-kind scrapbook page, this design brings instant wow factor.
