Grand Brand Ambassador 2018-2019
Clare Charvill – UK
“Thank you Diane, Charee and Aimie for inviting me to be an Ambassador for the Brand again this year. I was thrilled and as you know a total addict.
As a child I loved all things handmade and tried many different crafts. I stitched my way through the 70s, knitted my way through the 80s and sugar crafted my way through the 90s. running evening classes at a local college for ten years and qualifying as a Further Education teacher in 1994.
In 2011 I discovered the vintage papers created by Graphic 45. Loving the bygone era the papers evoked and, combining all my crafting skills, I began my papercraft journey.
When Graphic 45 ran a Design Team Call in 2012, I applied and was selected to become a member of their International Team. Two years later I was honoured to be invited to become the Graphic 45 Ambassador for the UK. Totally inspired by the collections I’ve had the privilege of representing the brand on UK Craft TV and sharing the love of G45 with like-minded crafters through my workshops and retreats held all around the UK.
In 2013 I launched my own papercraft business, My Creative Spirit and continue to use Graphic 45 papers as the inspiration for my range of bespoke craft products, project ideas and project kits. These enable customers to capture their own treasured memories and to make beautiful vintage styled gifts and keepsakes. I love sharing my creativity through my blog and YouTube channel with crafters all over the world.
Imagine Tag Album & Case
Here's to another year of sharing creative ways to use your wonderfully unique collections with G45ers here in the UK and around the world 🙂
I used pink and blue papers from the 'Imagine' collection and the three new Tag Dies to create and decorate this fun folded tag album and coordinating case. The clocks and cogs have been highlighted with Treasure Gold to make them pop in the layers of fussy cut images and stickers that create the focal points on each page of the album, the tiny tags and box. It's a little project packed full of detail. I love how it all came together and hope it inspires you to be creative with this gorgeous collection:-) C
I've put together a video of the project and one that takes you through three different ways to create tag albums using the dies.” ~Clare
