Hello G45ers!
We love a good tag tutorial. Tags are fabulous since they can be used in so many different ways (ex: gift tags, added to cards, mini albums, home decor) and they are great for practicing new techniques. To kick your week off right we have a set of Little Things Tags by Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Anna Sigga. We encourage you to grab your fine-tipped scissors and some paper and join us for this video tutorial.
Little Things Tag Set
By Anna Sigga
“Hello, fellow Graphic45 lovers.
The Little Things collection is oh-so-precious, and I adore all the beautiful images in this collection.
I especially fell in love with those mushrooms – these lil images are just too darn cute!
I wanted to create tags that I could use for any occasion, so I used some of the images from one of the 12×12 papers as the focal point.
I then picked patterned papers that matched those images and layered these onto a kraft tag.
I die-cut several leaves using one of the dies from the Large Tag and Flower
I distressed the edges of the layered papers to add a vintage feel to the whole tag. I used scissors to distress the edges, but you can use any distressing tool. Using your hands/fingers is also an option, and I added ink to make it even more distressed.
I can create more dimensions with minimal effort by placing the die-cut leaves and mushrooms behind the main image.
Then I used lots of fuzzy-cut mushrooms to decorate the main image.
Happy crafting!” ~Anna
